Students of M. Sc. Geoinformatics have visited area near by bhilwara and Chittorgarh for ground truth verification. They took points by GPS of various landscapes and verified features of satellite image on ground.

Students of MSc chemistry visited Soil Testing Laboratory of Govt. Agriculture Dept. Bhilwara to learn about Atomic Absorption Spectrometry (AAS) technique which is used to measure quantities of chemical elements present in environmental samples.
Biological excursion to understand the ecology of Patola Mahadev, Pur region by Department of Biology with the students of B.Sc Biology, M.Sc Zoology and Botany on 21 September 2019.
World Ozone Day
A symposium is organised on World Ozone Conservation Day by School of Basic and Applied Sciences on 16 September 2019 to creat learning about the causes and harmful effect of ozone layer depletion. Deputy Dean Dr Preeti Mehta focused on environment friendly techniques to minimize this phenomenon in her speech. M.Sc Chemistry students Piyush Sahu , Raju Nagar and M.Sc Geoinformatics student Rajesh Dhivar delivered their presentation on the subject. Prof. Rajeev Mehta appeal to the students to make awareness among the public about the issue. All the faculty members and students of the school were present.
An online expert session on 'Cancer Research' was organized at Sangam University by Dr. Nishant Vyas, Technical Head at Nirav Biosolutions Pvt. Ltd., Pune. He is a Ph.D. holder in the field of tumor immunology and currently handles research work at the lab on cancer biology, cell biology, and immunology.
Agenda of this #workshop was to give students exposure to areas of research along with career aspects in the field of cancer treatment. M.Sc. and B.Sc. Students participated along with department faculties in the #session.

Talk on Quantum Mechanics
Prof. Manoj Lakhan Expert in Modern Physics delivered an expert lecture on “Quantum Mechanics” on 27th April 2017 in School of Basic and Applied Sciences at Sangam University. The objective is to provide us with a method to follow in order to understand anything that exists. In fact, we can only grasp a certain amount of truth at any given time, whenever trying to understand something as a whole. Quantum mechanics provides the correct framework together with scientific explanation.
