Civil engineering is traditionally broken into a number of sub-disciplines. B.TECH MINING ENGINEERING

Mining engineering is an engineering discipline that applies science and technology to the extraction of minerals from the earth. Mining engineering is associated with many other disciplines, such as geology, mineral processingand metallurgy, geotechnical engineering and surveying. A mining engineer may manage any phase of mining operations – from exploration and discovery of the mineral resource, through feasibility study, mine design, development of plans, production and operations to mine closure.

Scope- Diverse job opportunities exist in front of qualified mining engineers. Both Government and Private sector jobs are available in front of them. DIPLOMA ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING

Electrical Engineering is a core branch of engineering which is always recognized as an ever-green branch. Diploma in Electrical Engineering is designed to prepare students for responsible engineering positions in design, development, research, applications and operation in the fields of control systems, power electronics & drives, high voltage, electrical machines and power systems. Today, electrical engineers are much in demand in government as well as private sector due to the rising demand for electrical energy, power plants, renewable energy, satellite navigation, designing of circuits and automation in the industry. Electrical Engineers can be appointed as Junior Engineer, Design Engineer, Quality Control Engineer, Test Engineer, Reliability Engineer, Process and Manufacturing Engineer etc.

DIPLOMA CIVIL ENGINEERING

The Diploma in Engineering, also Diploma of civil Engineering are programmes focused on practical and skills-oriented training. It is a technical degree that only covers the essentials when ranked with an undergraduate engineering degree. It aims to provide students with industry or job related engineering knowledge, scientific skills, computing & analysis, mathematical techniques, a sound knowledge of English to communicate in the field and ability to apply problem solving techniques.

Its duration is 2–3 years. Many countries in the world recognize it as equivalent to Pre-Engineering or Bridging course when considered for continuing studies in engineering related bachelors or associate degree programmes. After successful completion of Diploma in Engineering course, students can either continue further Engineering studies in undergraduate level or specialize in certain fields with an advanced diploma.
